Winning a New Zealand online casino license

New Zealand is opening its online casino market for the first time under a formal licensing regime, and the window to get in is short.

Up to 15 brand-specific licenses will be issued in round one.

Expressions of interest open in July 2026.

From December 1, unlicensed operators have to stop serving New Zealand customers.
