🎵 25 yeas ago, in October 2001 was a pretty significant month for tech. On 23 October, Apple announced the original iPod: 5GB, up to 1,000 songs and US$399. Just two days later, Windows XP went on sale.

The iPod line lasted almost 13 years, while Windows XP received extended support until April 2014. Not bad longevity for two products launched within days of each other.

It's a great question. The short answer is that security tools aren't just looking at the platform anymore. They're also looking at how it's being used. Unfortunately, attackers have become very good at hiding behind trusted services to make malicious emails appear genuine. Security warnings don't always mean a document is dangerous, but they are worth paying attention to.
