Day 6
As part of Saarang’s QR Storytelling & Heritage Mapping initiative, and in collaboration with the Pokhara Tourism Council (PTC), we continue the digitalization of tourism by installing QR storytelling boards at important cultural and religious sites in Pokhara—making local heritage easier to understand and access for visitors.
📍 Siddha Baraha Temple, Pokhara–23 (Thulkhet)
The QR Storytelling board was installed at Siddha Baraha Temple to help visitors explore brief and meaningful stories of the site through simple scan-and-discover technology. This installation supports a better visitor experience and highlights the temple’s religious and cultural importance.
The program was conducted in the presence of PTC Vice President Mr. Hari Bhujel, PTC President Mr. Tara Nath, the Secretary of Pokhara Tourism Council, and the Co-founder of Saarang, along with the Saarang team.
The QR storytelling initiative was respectfully shared with Shree Nissenanda Maharaj, the religious guru of Siddha Baraha Temple, supporting the preservation and sharing of spiritual heritage through digital storytelling.
Through this QR board, visitors can access trusted cultural and religious information, promoting sustainable tourism, local narratives, and a more inclusive tourism experience in Pokhara
