Re: Welcoming Chris Byers as Founder and CEO of Alpinist Studios USA LLC
We’re pleased to share that Chris Byers will be leading Alpinist Studios USA LLC as its Founder and CEO.
This year, Alpinist Studios USA, LLC was launched and backed by Chris Byers, a long time advisor to Alpinist Studios Nepal. While it has been slow to develop, this technical change is representative of a plan that was born few years ago and has grown into a bigger vision.
This is the beginning of building out a wider marketing and support system in North America, in particular around project management resources. And also a contractual relationship with Alpinist Studios USA, LLC for US clients and Alpinist Studios Nepal as a Software Development workstation.
Our ideal hope is that this can pair the already successful engineering, QA, and web development skills of Alpinist Studios with resources based in US-time-zones and context to accelerate results for our clients.
Chris will be our Spearhead for the coming years to better understand how we can serve our partners over the coming seasons. And also to grow our company.
For some quick background and vision from Chris.
"In 2010 I started my own journey of building a software company called Formstack. During my nearly 14 year run at the company, we had the opportunity to learn to build and grow a software company that was focused on making people and companies more productive. That journey resulted in growth to more than 35K customers across the globe including the NFL, Netflix, Cleveland Clinic, and Harvard University. Our partnership with PSG Equity and Silversmith Capital Partners allowed us to further our growth through key acquisitions and capital investment.
In 2014 I took my first trip to Kathmandu, Nepal and met John Chhetri. John was early on in his new venture, Alpinist Studios (fka Soanitech). You have no doubt in some way been impacted by John’s tenacity in building a company designed to have a positive impact in Nepal. During my time at Formstack, we had our own global engineering team that was a foundation to our growth and culture.
While we benefited greatly, we also learned the vital formulas that created partnership across the globe. This meant North American product and project managers working in our time zones and context with international engineers. We believe that this formula can accelerate success for all of us."
Over time we will introduce more of our model for domestic support as it comes online especially with US and Global Clients.
We look forward to See the growth of Alpinist Studios through the leadership of Chris and through the team work of Alpinist Studios.
