How It Works?
1) Registration
To send sms via AMPLETEXT.COM, the first thing you need to do is to create your account by registering in the site, which is totally free. Just fill up the registration form with your details and you are done. For the security purpose, a verification link will be mailed to your e-mail inbox. Just click on the link and your account is up and running. If you don't receive any e-mail in your inbox, please check in your spam folder. It is quite possible that your e-mail provider may have sent it there. Or you may contact the administrator at [email protected].
2) Set Up Sender Id
After you have registered, you need to set up the Sender Id first. To do that, login to your account, go to settings and request for pin by providing your mobile number or username. You can either provide your Mobile number with extension (country code; E.g. # # #- # # # # # # # # ) or any character (username; E.g. A verification code will be sent in your mobile message box. Enter that code to verify your Sender Id. After verification by admin, you will be able to send sms via your sender id. You can setup upto 3 Sender Ids for your account.
3) Buy Credits:
After signing up the account, you’ll be provided with free credits that you can use to send local sms (no International SMS). It will be valid for next 2 hrs only. You can send up to 2 SMSs with this credit. After expiry of this free credit hour, you’ll need to purchase the credits to send SMSs. 4) Creating Contact
To add contacts, you’ll need to create a group and sub-group of that group. Then you can add your contacts in that sub-group. You can either add the contact one by one or directly upload an excel or text file and give the extension. The excel file can contain name, phone, address and email fields, but the fieldnames must be specified in the excel file. The text file should contain only the contact numbers (no extensions).
5) Sending SMS
To send SMS, select your sender id (if you have more than 1 Sender Id), then enter the receiver’s mobile number or can select the receivers from the contact list at the right side. a) Select Sender Id (if more than one)
b) Receipent Number(s) with extension(Country-code) E.g. # # #- # # # # # # # #
c) Check(Select) to set scheduled message to send later. Set your Sender Id, Receipent Number(s), message, Date and time to send message and click Send. Your message will be sent on specified date and time. d) Type your message here. e) Click Send Button to send message. f) Gives information about the Characters left in a message, Number of receipents and Bumber of messages. g) Contact List: Group Name
h) Contact List: Sub-Group Name
i) Contact List: Contact Name (List)
6) Sending Scheduled SMS
You can also schedule the messages to send later. For that, select your sender Id (if needed), select the receiver(s), type in the message, check the ‘Scheduled Msg’ checkbox, set the date and time to send the message, then click send. Your message will be sent to the specified receiver(s) on the exact date and time. Check in the Scheduled Outbox to view the status of your scheduled messages.
