Frontend Developer
As a Mid-Level Frontend Developer at Kazi Studios, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing frontend solutions for our clients' projects. You will collaborate closely with our project managers, designers, and backend developers to create exceptional user experiences and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of frontend development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating elegant and responsive web interfaces.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional frontend solutions.
Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of frontend applications across different browsers and devices.
Optimize frontend performance and user experience through code optimization, caching, and other techniques.
Work closely with designers to implement UI/UX designs, ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and frameworks, and actively share knowledge with the team.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on web applications.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows.
Familiarity with frontend build tools, package managers, and task runners (Webpack, npm, Gulp, etc.).
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Self-motivated, with a passion for learning and keeping up with emerging frontend technologies and trends.
Backend Developer
As a Junior Backend Developer at Kazi Studios, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support and collaborate closely with our Senior Backend Developer. Together, you will work to ensure the seamless integration of backend and frontend systems, optimize application performance, and drive best practices in backend development.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Senior Backend Developer to understand project requirements and assist in translating them into robust backend solutions.
Work closely with the Senior Backend Developer to develop, test, and maintain server-side logic using PHP and Laravel, ensuring code quality, security, and scalability.
Support the Senior Backend Developer in the design and optimization of database schemas, queries, and interactions to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Assist in the implementation and integration of RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth data exchange between backend and frontend components.
Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and compatibility between frontend and backend systems.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging under the guidance of the Senior Backend Developer to identify and resolve backend issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the applications.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development and actively share knowledge with the team.
Support the Senior Backend Developer in planning and estimation of backend development tasks, providing input on technical feasibility and implementation approaches.
Seek guidance and mentorship from the Senior Backend Developer to enhance your skills and knowledge in PHP, Laravel, and backend development best practices.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of PHP and experience with Laravel framework.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to collaborate effectively with frontend developers.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in building and consuming them.
Proficient in database concepts and SQL, with experience in designing and optimizing database schemas.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve backend issues efficiently.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Graphic Design Intern
As a graphic design intern, you will be supporting the creative director and graphic designers with their work in designing online and offline materials. You will be learning from some of the best in the design field and contributing and collaborating with them on creative ideas, brainstorming and implementing these ideas into production.
