We are beyond excited to announce that Maitri Gives/Maitri Services was selected as a Fall Semester partner with the University of Colorado Boulder’s University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business, Badami Office of Experiential Learning (BOEL)!
From a pool of 75 applicants, four students and one student advisor—ranging from freshman to graduate-level—have been selected to participate in this unique 8-week experiential learning project!
The CU Boulder students will work alongside the Maitri Gives and Services team in the U.S. and Nepal to design and develop an AI-powered tool for Maitri Gives that will help streamline the grant application process and identify new funding opportunities. Ultimately, the goal is simple: help Maitri Gives secure more funding so we can expand our impact for young girls and women throughout Nepal.
What makes this partnership even more special is the opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience working with a U.S.-based company and our offshore engineering teams in Nepal. At the conclusion of the project, the students will travel to Kathmandu to present their final solution to the Maitri Gives team!!
While in Nepal, they will also have the opportunity to see the impact of Maitri Gives firsthand through visits to schools and charitable initiatives, including support efforts for communities affected by the recent flooding.
