Can you tell the difference between User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX)? Many people use these terms interchangeably, but they represent distinct aspects of the design process.
Think of it this way: UX is like the entire experience of owning and using a product – how easy it is to navigate a website, find what you need, and achieve your goals. UI is like the specific touchpoints you interact with – the buttons, menus, and visual elements that facilitate that experience. For example, a website's UX might be how smoothly you can complete a purchase, while the UI is the design of the "Add to Cart" button, the checkout form, and the confirmation page.
At Octoways, we understand the importance of both in creating engaging and effective digital products.
