Starship
Human race heading towards Mars, a new step for being an interplanetary species.
On Sept. 28, 2019 Elon Musk (founder of SpaceX, Tesla, PayPal etc.) amazed the whole world by revealing his starship to the public. Being a technology entrepreneur, investor, and engineer, he had been researching and developing a lot of new tech that had been changing the world.
Starship his latest invention has amazed the whole world, which is one of its kind and is said to be the vehicle that will take humans to Mars.
The specs that Elon Musk has given for his Starship are quite impressive. The vehicle is over 165 feet (50 meters) tall, with a diameter of 30 feet (nine meters).
At his latest presentation in Boca Chica, Texas, Musk claimed the final version of the rocket will be able to carry 150 tons of payload, surpassing the capacity of the Saturn V rocket that took humans to the Moon. And this is enough to make Starship the most powerful rocket ever built when it comes into operation.
Starship contains 6 insanely powerful raptor engines that altogether produces a whopping 2700 thousand pounds of thrust. These are reusable engines developed by SpaceX which will use methane as their fuel. After landing on Mars, the crew is supposed to make their own methane fuel from water and atmospheric carbon-dioxide.
The whole world is waiting eagerly to see this rocket launch and land on the surface of Mars.
And as a huge surprise, Musk has claimed to launch the Starship by 2020. The whole trip to Mars will take about 7 months. If the whole thing goes according to the plan then, it is supposed that humans will take their first steps on Mars by the year 2023 and begin their work to be the first known inner-planetary species.
