Vacancy Announcement – Senior Professional Accountant

Hi-Tech Nepal is seeking an experienced and highly competent senior professional accountant to join our team. We are looking for a finance professional with strong expertise in accounting, auditing, import and trade finance, and strategic financial management.

The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or finance, and strong proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and Tally. The position requires someone capable of taking ownership of accounting and audit functions while providing accurate financial insights and supporting sound business decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise:

Lead and oversee internal audit functions and establish effective audit frameworks.
Manage accounting operations with accuracy, compliance, and financial discipline.
Handle import and trade-related accounting, including customs valuation and trade finance.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC), foreign currency risks, and freight cost allocation.
Ensure proper financial reporting, reconciliation, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Provide strategic financial guidance to support organizational growth and decision-making.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing, import/export finance, and taxation.
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for critical financial functions.

Compensation: NPR 75,000 – 100,000 per month, negotiable based on experience, expertise, and suitability for the role.
