Meet three new additions to the Kystdesign team: Sigmund, Simen and Karl Henrik! 👋
Sigmund joined us in September, bringing a mechanical background and experience from the construction industry. Ready to get closer to the mechanical side again, he was drawn to Kystdesign as an exciting company in an industry that is new to him.
As part of our Service & Support team, Sigmund will work with customer follow-up, coordination and project management. He’s also looking forward to getting hands-on with the equipment to better understand the products. One thing that has already made an impression is the strong focus on quality, especially as production continues to grow.
Outside of work, life is rarely quiet with his wife and three children, and cars and motorcycles are a shared family interest. This summer, he and his wife went on a longer motorcycle trip through Europe. 🏍️
Simen also joined us in September as a Mechanical Technician. With experience as an industrial pipefitter and mechanic, he was ready to move from maintenance and repairs to creating something from the ground up.
At Kystdesign, he gets to follow the process and really get to know the products. New technology and a workplace close to home made the move even more appealing. ⚙️
Outside of work, Simen spends time with his two young daughters, enjoys trips back to Hardanger, where he grew up, and fits in some gaming when time allows. 🎮⛰️
Karl Henrik joins us permanently as an Electrical Technician after working with the team since March. With a background in automation, he builds and wires electrical components, but especially enjoys the opportunity to follow more of the process, from building and customer testing to potentially installing systems onboard vessels. ⚡
Outside of work, Karl Henrik enjoys family life with his young child, cars and the occasional gaming session. 🎮🚗
We’re happy to have all three on the team. Welcome to Kystdesign! 👏
