🌿 Honored and Inspired: A Visit to Remember in Trøndelag 🌍
This week, we had the great pleasure of welcoming Professor Anil Joshi and Dr. Shivam Joshi from HESCO India to Trøndelag, as part of an emerging India–Norway collaboration focused on ecological metrics, digital planning, and regenerative development.
At the heart of this exchange was Henning Culture Farm in Steinkjer—a pioneering site for rural innovation and ecological regeneration. Our warmest thanks to Torunn and Einar Johan Bjerkem, who generously hosted us and are transforming their family farm into a powerful living lab for Gross Environment Product (GEP), ESG visibility, and place-based co-benefit planning. 🌾💧🌳
From conversations in Trondheim and Steinkjer, to shared insights on sustainability data, youth engagement, and public–private collaboration, this visit showed how global partnerships can thrive when anchored in local soil.
We’re deeply grateful to:
NTNU and Nord University for driving academic collaboration and systemic innovation
Trondheim and Steinkjer municipalities for their openness and leadership urban-rural transformation
Stiftinga Røtter and Norsk Bærekraftsenter for nurturing the human infrastructure that makes real change possible
🙏 Thank you, Professor Anil Joshi and Dr. Shivam Joshi, for your vision, generosity, and commitment to co-creating models that work for both people and the planet.
🌍 Together, we are bridging the countryside in Norway with rural communities in the Himalayas—linking local wisdom, digital innovation, and shared values in a global alliance for regenerative futures.
