While Jon is off enjoying a well-earned summer break (and hopefully not checking wind direction with antique instruments), we at WISE Group are raising a virtual toast to our legendary sales leader, weather monitoring connoisseur, and walking encyclopaedia of MetOcean systems.

For decades, Jon has led the way — not just in sales, but also in mentoring the next generation, solving customer challenges, and ensuring every radar, rain gauge, and wind sensor has a purpose. His expertise runs so deep, we’re convinced he once gave Francis Beaufort a few tips...

Without Jon around this week, our marketing team has been spinning like a poorly calibrated anemometer — so we made a comic strip in his honour instead. (Jon, please don’t audit the sensor accuracy when you return.)
