They say "overnight success" takes a decade. In my case, it took 12 years of strategic planning and complex negotiations to finalize the partnership with Havila Kystruten.
This April, we are casting off for the third consecutive year with Rootscruise (founded in 1995) under the ThrillOut Live umbrella.
This isn't just a cruise; it’s a high-stakes logistical operation:
✅ The Fleet: Leveraging one of the world’s most eco-friendly vessels for 12 days.
✅ The Talent: Bringing 25 top-tier artists to local communities along the entire Norwegian West-North coast from Bergen to Kirkenes and back. Even concerts in port in Tromsø and Brønnøysund for local blues lovers.
✅ The Sustainability: Sailing 100% electric and emission-free in our world-heritage fjords.
✅ The Proof: A million-dollar operation built on organic growth—completely without sponsors.
Why now?
I’ve identified a massive synergy between the 20 billion NOK fundraising sector and the 4 billion NOK live music market (Norway alone). Through our platform, CareBoard, we aim to bridging this gap.
By using frameworks from Stanford Venture Lab (where I was among the top 20% to complete the Technical Entrepreneurship fast-track), MITx, and NTNU, we have architected a system where culture meets purpose.
Our pilots with NGOs like NOAH (Rock for ulven) and Dråpen i Havet "Drop in the Ocean" have already proven the model, raising over 160,000 NOK and mobilizing 22 rock bands in Oslo alone.
The "Proof of Concept" is documented. The traction is real. The operative teams are in place. Now, we are opening doors for strategic partners who want to join us for the next chapter of the global culture and purpose economy.
