- Likestilling er ikke bare et internt anliggende, det gjelder også eksternt- som i verdikjeden hos bedrifter, sier vår CEO og medgründer Marie Louise Sunde.

Marie deltok på CARE Talks hvor CARE Norge lanserte “sjekkliste for likestilling i verdikjeden” et verktøy utviklet for å hjelpe norske bedrifter å integrere kjønnsperspektivet i sitt arbeid med bærekraftsmålene og åpenhet i leverandørkjeden. Vi i Equality Check utruster norske selskaper med software for veiledning i hvordan likestilling er tverrgående for arbeidsvilkår, hms og rettigheter.

Vi har fremdeles lønnsforskjeller på nasjonalt nivå: for hver 100 kroner som menn tjener i Norge, tjener kvinner 87 kroner (SSB 2021). Selv om de fleste er enige om at likelønn er viktig å jobbe for, har mange bedrifter faktisk ikke regnet på om de har lønnsforskjeller, og ikke undersøkt årsaken til de eventuelle lønnsforskjellene.

Since getting back after the summer it's been a busy one for the Equality Check team. While some of the things we’ve worked on are still top secret for now, what we can reveal to you is another new addition to the team! We’re really excited to welcome Sunniva Bøstrand as our Head of Finance & Administration. Sunniva comes to us with a background in corporate banking and finance. She is also the founder of a professional network in her home town of Ålesund, KIN - Kvinner i Næringslivet to support women in business in the local area.
