dRofus is a unique, integrated program and data management tool that provides your projects with excellent process support from early phase programming to completion - and beyond. With dRofus you can plan, manage and document all functions, rooms, equipment, systems and components in a building project. The program has been on the market for 16 years and is available in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish,

Dutch and English. dRofus is the only available tool for integrated program validation and data management that supports both import & export of IFC with built-in viewer as well as an advanced direct link to Revit Architecture, Revit MEP and ArchiCAD. dRofus is since 2001 built on a SQL server, making it possible for everyone in the project to always work on the last updated version of data. dRofus has been used with great success in hospital projects up to 400.000 sqm (4.2 mill.sqft). Some large projects have had more than 500 users connected to the system in the same project. Our customers are both Clients who use dRofus to capture their requirements, architect and engineering companies who use dRofus to support their work processes, and Contractors who implement dRofus to secure a successful Project. Ltd.(AUS) and dRofus AB(Sweden) are our daughter companies, providing our customers worldwide with local support.

What sets leading healthcare architecture firms apart? It’s not just design, it’s how they leverage structured project data, connected room information, and coordinated equipment planning for better collaboration and smarter decisions.

With dRofus as the single source of truth, teams deliver healthcare facilities with confidence, clarity, and superior outcomes.

When people look at the top 10 healthcare architecture firms, they often focus on design reputation, project scale, or market presence. But behind many of the firms recognized in the 2025 World of Construction ranking is something less visible and just as important: structured project data with dRof...

For years, openBIM has promised better collaboration, better interoperability, and better lifecycle outcomes. But too often, the industry still works through disconnected files instead of connected, trusted data.

Our latest white paper, Turning Data Into Decisions: Closing the openBIM Gap, explores why that gap still exists and what it takes to close it. It looks at how putting clearly defined project requirements at the center of planning, design, construction, and operations can help teams move beyond file exchange and toward true data-driven delivery.

At dRofus, we believe better outcomes start with a single source of truth—where stakeholders can align around structured, accessible information across the entire building lifecycle. When project data is connected, teams can improve collaboration, reduce rework, validate requirements earlier, and support smoother handover into operations.

Watch the On-Demand Webinar: Eliminating Risk in Early Project Planning: A Practical Approach

Early project planning is one of the most critical and most underestimated phases in complex building projects. When requirements are unclear, scattered, or poorly structured, teams face costly rework, misalignment, and inefficiencies that compound throughout design and construction. In this webinar, we explore how structured requirements and a centralized “single source of truth” can transform early planning into a strategic advantage. Drawing on real-world experience from healthcare and complex facility projects, you’ll learn how to reduce risk, improve collaboration, and ensure consistency from day one. We’ll also demonstrate how tools like dRofus enable teams to standardize, validate, and connect planning data across the entire project lifecycle for better outcomes and measurable cost savings.

What You’ll Learn:

- Why early planning is often underestimated—and how it drives downstream project risk
- How fragmented information leads to rework, delays, and cost overruns
- The impact of weak or unstructured requirements on project success
- How a “single source of truth” improves alignment across teams and stakeholders
- Practical ways to structure, validate, and manage requirements from the start
- How dRofus enables standardized planning, real-time collaboration, and seamless data integration across tools

Don’t just manage data – dRofus it.

To “dRofus your data” is to centralize every requirement, room, asset, and BIM connection into one governed, connected source of truth – structured, synchronized, and ready to drive better decisions across the entire building lifecycle.

When owners, architects, contractors, and operators all work from the same live, validated dataset, silos disappear, conflicting spreadsheets fade away, rework drops, and every project moves closer to building it right the first time.

Are you still juggling spreadsheets, models, and emails – or are you ready to dRofus your data?

Last week we released dRofus 2.18 with changes to user permissions. This release introduces support for splitting permissions between project and database, which is our first major step toward enhanced support for multiple projects within a single shared database.

Why is this important?

For our enterprise customers, this makes it easier to manage standards centrally as well as running multiple projects in parallel. It allows projects to share the same properties, classification structures, and templates instead of maintaining separate, siloed databases.

This shared, consistent data foundation not only improves day-to-day coordination and reporting, it also prepares your data in a structured way for future advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.

One of the biggest benefits of early planning is not more documentation, but reusable, structured data that can be reused and scaled. Templates play a key role in enabling that.
