Some snippets from the web system we built for Phantom, from phantom.com to new product sites for Phantom Connect and Cash.
Our process for complex web projects like these runs in three layers.
→ The foundation aligns brand, content, design, and engineering into a shared architecture before anything is built.
→ The system turns that into components, grids, and patterns that scale.
→ The expression gives it a voice: the interactions, motion, and narrative frameworks that make it behave as distinctly as it looks.
In practice these layers are intertwined: strategy shapes design, design shapes code, and code defines what’s possible in both. That’s what allows a site to grow without slowly losing itself.
For a client like Phantom, scale is what matters most. We designed the system not just for the first launch, but for the many pages and products that follow. That means embedding content strategies, motion principles, and interaction layers into the technical architecture from the start.
The handover between motion and code is where a lot of this lives or dies, and tightening that interplay is something we’re actively investing in at BB.
