"Innovation Driving Excellence in Pathology" was the motto of this year's European Society of Pathology Congress ( ).
The impressive programme made it clear that the pathology community is steadily embracing AI and computational models. However, as AI-driven markers rapidly develop, we must ensure these algorithms are robust for routine clinical use.
ICGI was glad to contribute to these discussions with two presentations:
● "Inter-block heterogeneity of tertiary lymphoid structures in mismatch repair deficient endometrial carcinoma", by Manohar Pradhan
● "Training computational pathology models for clinical routine", by Andreas Kleppe
Thank you to the European Society of Pathology and the Swedish Society of Pathology for bringing together so many different sides of the pathology community in beautiful Stockholm.
