If there ever was a person with an allergy to the status quo in the AEC industry and a fighter against repetitive tasks, that's Rita Aguiar for you. A highly skilled architect and developer with expertise in automating design workflows to support architecture and engineering teams using BIM magic, Rita is one of Reope's OG players.

Working as a consultant software engineer at Spacemaker AI for over a year, Rita has made an important contribution to Autodesk. In her role, she has focused on delivering geospatial data to the Spacemaker platform and has been instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction. She has worked with backend infrastructure in Python, using Node, Serverless Framework, AWS Services, and GitHub Actions, as well as frontend technologies in TypeScript using React.

We're happy to introduce Krzysztof Jędrzejewski as the newest member of Reope! He's an architect and Computational Designer who specializes in helping teams adopt new design technologies. Krzysztof loves teaching architects how to use programming with BIM for design automation, and is a Revit, Dynamo, Rhino and Grasshopper expert.

"My eyes light up when thinking about what Reope does and I can see the exact same spark of excitement in the eyes of not only Håvard, but also of every single member of his team. After all - How can one not get excited about the vision of enabling architects and engineers to focus not on the tedious tasks, but on the pure joy that the process of design brings?"

At Reope he will be responsible for Project Management, developing custom workflows, and propagating the use of computational tools among the architecture community via courses and training sessions.

Krzysztof speaks Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, and English (no big deal) and previously worked at ARROW Architects, a danish international architecture practice.

Color Parameters is a tool that helps your design teams understand the data in their models in a visually appealing way. It applies a color range to elements in your current view based on sets of parameter values, giving you faster access to better insights to your models.

It was developed for the design teams on the New Government Quarters, and came to be because one third of all our Dynamo scripts had some variation of ColorOverrideInView in them and Revit View Filters have very limited applications. It was also interesting to discuss with our engineering team how Tekla uses colors to help designers understand model data.

Now, instead of messing around with Tags, Schedules, View Filters and Dynamo, our clients have one-click access to visual model data control and understanding.

The most difficult thing with software development is solving the right problem. Night Runner is a tool that makes families, types and settings in multiple Revit files identical, and saves large projects countless hours.

Developed on the New Government Quarters project in Oslo, Norway it is both a highly wanted and needed tool for big design teams.

The people whose job it was to manually synchronize Revit content on large projects, can now apply their skills to creating valuable designs instead. We thought this was a sluggish problem worth solving, so we did.

We are super excited to welcome our new Office Manager Nora to our team starting this month. Nora has a fantastic mixture of both project management, group performance and event creation skills, and is passionate about helping teams work better together. As we grow, she will be a key person to keep the group connected.
