Another year is coming to an end. 🎆🎇

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, partners, supporters, and colleagues for an incredible, exciting, and growing year.🧡🌱

Yesterday we gathered over 100 participants from both Denmark and Norway at the annual business conference Skagerrak business summit. 🌊🗺🛳🛳

The themes for the year are Green transition and digitalization in the maritime and energy sector, in addition to separate parallel sessions in offshore wind and artificial intelligence, among other things. 💚🧠

It was a very nice and educational day with a lot of professional replenishment, mingling and also an introduction to the local Gin distillery. Harahorn Gin 🍸👌🏽

We look forward to great cooperation across the Skagerrak in the future 🔮👯‍♀️

In Norway, we have world-class wind resources, and offshore wind can be a new industrial adventure for both new players and an oil & gas industry that is already in full swing. 💨🆕

HAPPY 17th of May 💙🤍💓 Norway!

The 17th of May was established as a National Day in 1814 as the Constitution of Norway was signed in Eidsvoll, declaring Norway as an independent nation. 🏞

We ❤love that on this day Children🧒🏽 have a special role in the celebrations.
The biggest part of the event is dedicated to them. The children’s parades consist of marching, singing, waving Norwegian flags and carrying school banners and they are allowed to eat as much ice cream as they want 🍦🎈

We wish you a wonderful day where ever you are and we hope for peace in the world

A shared dashboard can be set up to be the default dashboard for new users.

Report folders:
Reports are sorted into folders. Standard folder for standard reports and project folders for project-specific reports.

Search for exiting files using custom fields:
When linking existing files (to items, tags etc.) you can now search using custom fields.

Loading templates:
When searching for templates to load into an existing drawing, you can now choose whether you want to search for templates or other drawings to load border, title block etc. from.

Miscellaneous updates and bug fixes:
Automatically redraw loops, more settings set by A1/A3/A4 button, check for parent tag when refreshing drawings, draw loops for selected symbols, delete ghost graphics, Load template dialogue updates, custom mapping for generated symbols on-field termination diagrams, parent tag in bower bus dialogue and more.

Search for multiple exact values (image below):
To search for multiple exact values, enter the values separated by a comma. Once will automatically change your search mode to 'In'. You can also select a range of cells in Excel and paste these as search criteria. Once will then make a comma-separated exact value search, and if there is already a search criterion, this will add to the list of exact values, not overwrite them.

Automated document names:📛
When creating document profiles, customers who use a different algorithm than standard Once will not get a suggested name for their documents. The document name field will be empty and the users have to enter the full name themselves.

Add native files for multiple documents:📄📄📄📄
By selecting multiple drawings and using the Add file from template action, you can now add native files to multiple documents at the same time.

Miscellaneous updates and bug fixes:🐛
Convert legacy Once panel termination diagrams, moved CAD config files from XML to DB, draw branch command repeats until ended by a user, support for components in field connections for loops, support for user-made plug symbols on-field termination drawings, support for plug connections in field connections for loops and more.

Where it all started?
Maybe this is where our founders got the idea to start Engineering Systems AS and got their vision to help engineers standardize and reuse technical documentation.

The phrase “just do it Once” stuck and the name for the product was decided. - Powered by Engineering Systems AS

Document data on reports:
You can now make report templates that include document metadata. This is commonly used to have document name, title, project name etc. on every page of a report.

New templates:
It is now easier to create templates from existing templates as the Copy New action will copy both the template definition and the template file.

Legacy Once drawing conversion:
Once-click conversion of legacy Once generic and field termination drawings.

Miscellaneous updates and bugfixes:
Sub documents not included when compendium documents are copied, numeric fields in grid edit, bulk edit and grid edit pins, new filter icon, the default location for terminals and field equipment on panel termination diagrams, redraw enclosure on panel termination diagram, warning message on undo checkout and get latest and more.
