AI didn't just change how we build. It changed how we decide.
Two years ago, an architectural decision meant a room, a whiteboard, and three senior engineers blocking out a morning. Today that same decision starts with a structured prompt, a generated breakdown of tradeoffs, and a senior engineer who reviews, challenges, and owns the output.
What AI can't do: understand the client's real constraint, spot the assumption buried in the requirement, know which tradeoff will matter in eighteen months. That's still a human call â and it always will be.
Two examples from inside LANARS:
