2023 will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Metrological. Jeroen Ghijsen, co-founder and CEO, has decided to step down after nearly twenty years of service to the company.

Since inception in 2005, Metrological has been at the forefront of innovation within the TV industry, thanks in large part to Jeroen’s vision of how the future of TV should look. Under his direction, the Metrological Application Platform has become a preeminent app platform used by Tier 1 MVPDs and TV operators, and many of the largest media companies worldwide.

Going forward, Metrological remains part of Comcast Technology Solutions, which is led by Ken Klaer, Executive Vice President and President. Metrological’s day-to-day operations will be managed by Brandon Thompson, Vice President, Business Development, MVPD. Metrological partners can expect the same innovative approach to remaining at the forefront of technology and entertainment that they’ve come to expect from Metrological, now with even greater support, engagement, and leadership from Comcast Technology Solutions.
