Festival season is in full swing. Thousands of people moving around a venue, multiple agencies trying to stay aligned, and everyone working from a different picture.

That last part is where things tend to go wrong.

Sweden's voluntary aviation corps FFK ran into exactly this challenge during the FIS Cross-Country Skiing World Cup in Falun. Police on the ground, Trafikverket coordinating from a different city entirely. Everyone responsible for the same event, but no shared view of what was actually happening.

The fix was simpler than you might expect. Drones in the air, live feeds through AirHub, and every agency watching the same picture at the same time.

As Lars-Göran, Flight Chief at FFK, put it: "Because we saw the same picture, it was easy for us to talk directly."
