I have been thrashing my little water colour set and its safe to say that the obsession is veryyyy real! I am a very messy painter and you can tell by how I mix my colours.

I thought about cleaning this all ip so it looks super pretty but then I didn’t… Because I like to start every blank canvas with something a little messy just to begin the process!

Anyway, super random… But here we are, have a lovellyyyyy rest of your weekend you wonderful humannnn xoxoxx

Just don’t forget… Your rest is part of the creative process too!

You are allowed to take a break. You are allowed to simply live your life without turning it into content, ideas, or meaning!

Your creativity isn’t going anyway, and neither is the work that is meant for you! 💫 But you, you need to be full first! ❤️🌸

Detours often lead to magical and surprising places!

Have you ever had something not go as planned, then look back and see that there was an even better thing that happened?

I remember that heart sinking feeling when I had got myself all geared up to move to the UK, then the visa was rejected a few weeks before jumping on the plane! But there was an even better plan in store for me, which lead me to Amsterdam! Where Jens and I met and I started my creative business and where was born! I’m so glad that things worked out the way that they did, looking back now! 🌞🥰

Bringing a brand vision to life! ✨

Here’s a peek at a branding project I had the pleasure of working on a while back. Swipe through to see the logo, brand colors, and business card designs! ✨

Creating a visual identity that truly represents a brand’s essence is always an exciting challenge. This project was all about capturing a calm and natural approach healing, the idea was to keep it clean and fresh but also down to earth.

Alongside other creative projects, I’ve been working on this personal project for some time now. 🧁📖✨

The creation of this book has been a beautiful journey that I have had the honor of doing alongside my Nana. ‘Morning Tea at Nana’s’ is a recipe book full of my Nana’s treasured recipes, and stories of their lives, with learnings, quotes, and baking tips! It truly is a treasure that will be passed down to our family for generations to come! 🥰

Before I took on this project with my Nana (The Queen of baking) I had very little baking experience. After baking every one of these recipes multiple times, photographing them, and turning them into a book… It’s fair to say, this book has changed my life. People now ask me to bring baking or desserts to gatherings… Which was never the case before! I actually enjoy baking and creating things from scratch too, there is something so soothing about taking the time to be completely present in the moment and simply just follow a recipe.

I also did all of the design and illustrations for but I did have help along the way with the early stages of photography and final editing from the most wonderful woman!

Fair to say there were a lot of leanings along the way, as well as lengthy phone calls with Nana. There was lots of baking made, consumed, shared and enjoyed too! 💜

This is one of the copies that we printed for our direct family last Christmas. We have made some further refinements and are now opening orders up to the public and plan to have 200 copies printed this month!! My favorite part about being a creative designer, is being able to transform and translate a message. We all have ideas in our heads, but some of us struggle to communicate or express just that.
I love using my super power to help reveal others super powers to themselves, and to the world. 🦹‍♀️
