A year ago I made a pact with myself to create for myself again, as an outlet, as a form of self expression and to just experiment with different mediums… Letting go of the outcome and the need for it to preform or to be seen, just as I did when I was a kid!
When you turn your passion into your bread and butter, the lines can quickly blur where clients creations become the priority over your own creative outlet…. I reached a point where I just stopped making time for my own creations, I was out of creative juice in the tank. I’m loving being able to make time for both!
Experimenting doesn’t always work out, its not always comfortable either but its all part of the process and when it does work out it can feel like a bloody miracle!
I truly believe that creativity is one of the greatest gifts here on earth! ❤️
We all have the power to be creative in the area that we are most drawn too: it could be baking, writing, how you dress, decorate your house, prepare a meal, how you move your body or create things with your hands! We all have the power to be creative ✨
