Six weeks. Five features shipped. đź‘€

Week 1: WhatsApp Voice Memos.
Week 2: WhatsApp Free Flow.
Week 3: Payment Mediation.
Week 4: SmartThings.
Week 5: WhatsApp Voice Call.
Week 6 was supposed to be Voice AI.

It's one of the hardest things we're currently building. Accents. Dialects. Background noise. Telephony systems. Passengers responding to the voice bot in ways no demo prepares you for.

We think we've cracked it, but we will only release this feature when it's fully ready.

When a passenger calls your taxi company directly on WhatsApp they’re no longer met with silence or a missed call.

Local taxi companies can now manage payments directly through WhatsApp — securely, seamlessly, and transparently.

Introducing: WhatsApp Free Flow Optimisation đź’¬

We realised pretty quickly… it’s not just about speed. It’s all the little steps in between that slow things down.

So we removed them.

No more rigid flows. No more jumping between steps.

Just one message: “Pick me up here, drop me there.” And the booking gets handled. Fast & simple. The way it should be.

If you’ve seen our intro video, you know we’re spending the next 6 weeks revealing the biggest updates we’ve ever built at Taxibooker. The goal is simple: make booking a ride as easy as possible for your passengers.

Today, we’re releasing WhatsApp Voice Messages.

People don't just type on WhatsApp anymore. They’re sending voice notes for everything. If your booking flow doesn't match how people actually talk, you’re missing out on rides.

This is why we’ve perfected our AI taxibot to understand intent instantly. Your passengers just hold the mic, say their pickup, destination, and time, and our bot handles the rest - just like any other booking.

We’ve spent months quietly testing this to make sure our bot "gets it" the first time. It’s about making your fleet the fastest and easiest choice in your city, and making sure your passengers get the best (and easiest) booking experience possible.
