Loooong time since I posted anything here...
well ehm, I'm still writing new modules for my axoloti circuitboard, but I've also regained some more focus on my modular synthesizer thanks to some new modules that finally glued together my system, that I've been building for years, to control it and mix it the way I was going for.

As of now, I'm focussing on creating two new modules for my modular, based on a new hardware version of the axoloti circuitboard. One being a sound source (live modulated ifft oscillator) and one being an effect (reverb/delay/chorus/etc. whatever I can add....in "one" effect, in whatever routing order or whatever effects selected together.. and cv controllable)

New project "automaton" for my modular, a eurorack module based on an axoloti and doepfer MTV16:

-16 channel continuous CV automation (0-5v) (not sure up to how many seconds, but it will be a lot..)
-8 channel gate sequence (0-5v)
-3 buttons to select which channel you want to record. In case digital is also recorded along X/Y, then X/Y will be sampled and held at release and recording starts when digital rec is pressed and stops when digital rec is released.
If only X&/Y is pressed, recording starts at first touch and stops at release (rec start/stop is also quantized by clock input).
-16-presets (channel selector+load/save) for all the CV and gate patterns, individually loadable
-2nd part of 1-8 channel selector swaps the X and Y controls for the CV's of the respective channel
-X/Y touch overlay for recording X/Y movements or gates
-overdub or automatic length- record (rec-button is sampled and held by clock input to make sure the recording stays on tempo)
-clear function to immidiatly clear all recordings
-clock and reset input

An idea for a manual-control-module for in my modular synthesizer called "Toolstation". A partly passive and partly active module.
-16x bidirectional fader/switch (k**b fades between A and B when switch is set to B)
-1x8 bidirectional switch
-lots of fixed voltage outputs to use with controls (+12v,-12v,+5v,-5v,+3.3v, ground)
-multi-channel CV/digital automation recorder
-2 joysticks (1 dual control output, 1 quadrant output)
-2 sliders
-2 k**bs
-2 trigger pads

crashtesting my axoloti setup for outdoor performance (in some park or something, it's very mobile and can play for over 48 hours on the accu-packs:P )

https://soundcloud.com/sirsicksik/crashtest

The crashtest for my axoloti setup. Found some annoying bugs in the code, which were the cause of some misbehavior and too many unusable randomisations. Still want a bit more chance on nasty, full on,

and the tekno setup is closing in.
Got in my latest needs for my mobile setup, bringing the total up to 5 axoloti's, 3 powerbanks for a total of 50.000mAmp (+-48 hours of continuous music), a quneo midi controller (fully touch-based) and a jbl xtreme speaker (holy s**t.. that bass).

but, just before I got it in, this was the last recording.
Currently the drums and their sequencer have been changed, again...
But it's time to through it all together.

until then, this is morphing the drums and a synth :)

fast forward to last week. It has been a nice productive time, learned quite a bit and I'm nearing completion of the 5-axoloti setup.
Here I'm testing out my old "new" drum-part with custom randomisable and preset-morphable drum modules.
A new dimension has opened up, allowing morphing of a set of parameters from preset to preset or anywhere in between.

Demonstration of the "preset" morph module for the axoloti. Here it controls all the sound-parameters of the drums, 74 k**bs at the same time! Midi note selects preset number and pressure controls mor

not being happy with the overall sounds of my drums, it was time to start getting serious.. something which is btw still going on up to this day..am I ever happy with my sound? XD
First try, incoorporating the bassline within the kick as a single source to prevent phase-canceling

A single patch with a 3-oscillator mono oscillator core (2 wavetables oscs in one with internal FM and 1 multi-phase-distortion oscillator being FM'd) and different kinds of delay-based after effects
