Just came from the media Year Conference in Hilversum. Seen some great developments in vr & ar. A cardboard augmented reality viewer from the startup Aryzon. Check out their kickstarter program https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/aryzon/aryzon-3d-augmented-reality-for-every-smartphone
A multisensory cabin from Sensiks. With a fully emmersive experience including wind and heat. And a webbased social-vr development from the Dutch TNO. Very promising!

Noho.ie just presented the cross cultural timeline that they are developing for the CEMEC exhibition. Impressive interactive display projected by a multi beamer setup where all content is linked through a open data model. Great to see the virtual collections we made being incorporated!

Visiting Budapest for the national presentation “The Avars Revived” at the National Museum of Hungary. This exhibition is organised within the framework of the CEMEC project (www.cemec-eu.net). In April 2016 we digitized a collection of early medieval masterpieces at the National Hungarian Museum. The virtual replica’s will be part of a interactive digital timeline developed by Noho Ireland. This upcoming meeting they will present a working setup of the digital timeline for the first time. Really looking forward to seeing the result! Keep you posted...

Recently we made a interactive app for the inaugural address of Wim Hupperetz for his appointment as professor on the chair 'Dutch Cultural History. The app is based on a 3D scan of a sealing portraying Julius Caesar. With applications like this we are exploring the possibilities to create interactive stories for cultural heritage.
