Spawned in 2011 Strictua is the brainchild from the collaborative effort of its two creators, Marijn Vanderheijden and Miquel Steps. The two met each other while studying CMD (Communication & Multimedia Design) at the Zuyd University in Maastricht. Perhaps to serve the greater good. So it should be no surprise that these two share many common interests. They both have a profound love for Art, Desi
gn, Fashion, and film. During their time in school they consistently challenged each other when it was time to work. Experimental shoots, sparring on what visual-design truly should be in all its facets, amongst other things, would only be the start of things to come. The constant moulding and readjusting of thoughts and ideas proved to be vital. It would lead to the beginning of Strictua. Not only does it combine the separate skill-set of these two gentlemen, it is also the blending of talents of two likeminded individuals with shared values. This is why Strictua is capable of creating high standards for itself and continue the challenge to reach a higher plateau than its previous one. It enables Strictua to produce compelling work which is also rather appealing.
