New workspace! 🌟 Well, theoretically, because if course, we’re still in a lockdown and it’s not essential for me to work from an office. But from today on I do have the possibility to work from one of the desks in this gorgeous impact hub.

From the moment I heard this wonderful sustainable impact hub / co-working space in my hometown was coming, I knew I wanted to be part of that community. Funnily enough, that happened even quicker than I could have ever imagined, as I got to create all photography for impact hub Oceans Haarlem and plant based restaurant Mama Gaia. Sometimes things just really match perfectly. 💫

Can’t wait to trade my home office for one of these desks soon. 👩‍💻 (Or later, because well, we’ll take it day by day these days.)

New online talk! Digital Fashion Week by Fashion Cloud has started, and at 13:30 the online panel conversation ‘Duurzame Keurmerken: en hoe communiceer je hierover naar je klant.’ will be aired. Together with my fellow panel guests Rachel Cannegieter from Rethink Rebels and Ashna Chhatta and moderator Bregje Lampe we discuss the jungle of sustainable certifications, the importance of transparency and the challenges and chances in communicating with customers.

Especially interesting for all sustainable fashion retailers and brands.

YouTube Debut with a cause! 🌟 Honoured to be the first guest on the new gameshow ReWrite by Correctbook. A gameshow with a cause, as Correctbook fights illiteracy in a structural, sustainable way. 🌍 During these recordings my inner extremely diligent self came to the surface. In other words: you’ll see me the way I was in high school.

Next to finding out all about whether my grammar knowledge and topographic skills are still up to date, you’ll also find out more about me on a personal level; About my own primary school period on the other side of the world, about one of my life motto’s and why I think a sustainable lifestyle doesn’t need to be expensive at all.

Viva Tiny tips that shake the world

What a different world... I took this photo, one of my new favourites, a few weeks ago. It was the last sustainable entrepreneur photoshoot I did, taken only a couple of days before the collective quarantine. The last cold day of the season, but not just the seasons have changed since then...

When will I be able to capture new conscious entrepeneurs? To photograph sustainable businesses? To shoot new fair fashion campaigns? To document sustainable events? I don’t have an answer, but I know that that day will come. And when it does, I’ll probably burst with love for my job. 💛📸

A BOOK FULL OF MY PHOTO’S! 📸 📗 | Meet the Amsterdam Startup Guide: over 250 pages of goodness filled with my photo’s.

Last summer I hopped all the way throughout Amsterdam for an enormous amount of photoshoots. I was photographing lots and lots of innovative startups, inspiring founders, amazing experts, the most gorgeous work spaces, investors and programs. (Some even of my own favourite sustainable companies.) A wonderful experience that resulted in this incredibly inspiring book, that I couldn’t describe better than Startup Guide did: ‘In amongst the charming brick houses and meandering canals, Amsterdam’s startup community is hard at work solving the world’s most pressing problems.’

Look at that! 🌟 Well, hello, my own work all throughout Utrecht. Pretty cool.

Already loved photographing the campaign for the ‘Utregse Jeans’ for Kuyichi Pure Goods & De Rode Winkel, but seeing my work displayed everywhere, from the shopping high street, historical city center to bus stops, surely is the cherry on the cake.

Thanks to both great teams to make this shoot a success.

I always love capturing sustainable entrepreneurs, but when sustainable entrepreneurs come together to join forces and create something collaborative, that is definitely also a true favourite. Because together you can achieve so much more. 🙌
