What happens when six Borgesius bakeries come together in one room?

Together with Borgesius we organized the first EZ-GO Community Day in Aalsmeer (NL).

Six locations, with some of them using EZ-GO in their own way. That's exactly why we wanted to bring them together. Teams swapped stories about what clicked on their floor and what took longer than expected. Questions got answered by people who'd already figured it out.

Ultimately, the best insights come from the people who actually do the work.

Thank you Samantha and Robert for organising the day, and thanks to everyone at Borgesius (and EZ Factory 😉) who showed up and made it what it was.

5 years ago, Lennart joined EZ Factory.
He has seen our company grow and as one of our back-end developers, Lennart has been building the foundation of amazing things in our EZ-GO platform like our skills module.

Five years of shipping, fixing, improving. Quietly making sure the platform that operators rely on every day actually works the way it should.

Meet our hero, Celine!

Celine joined EZ Factory in January 2026 as a Test Engineer. She makes sure that everything we build actually works, before it reaches a single production floor.

We asked Celine a few questions:

Improving and automating processes. I get a lot of satisfaction from preventing problems before users ever encounter them, and from continuously raising the quality bar of our software.

• 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗭 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?
EZ Factory stood out to me because quality and process assurance are central to both the product and the organisation. The combination of technology, innovation, and directly supporting operators on the factory floor makes the work both challenging and meaningful.

Yesterday we had our quarterly meeting at EZ Factory.

Every quarter, we step back from the daily grind to look at the bigger picture. How are we tracking toward our goals? Where are we winning? Where do we need each other?

Time to look up from the work, talk about the work and enjoyed some delicious refreshments 😉.

They came. They learned. They graduated. 🎓

Our three interns, Noah, Cindy and Evin, all completed their final assignments and graduated. What an achievement!

It's been great having them as part of the EZ Factory team. We wish them all the best for what's next, but first, a well-deserved holiday.

Meet our hero, Atul Datey!

Atul joined EZ Factory in January 2026 as Chief Growth Officer. He brings 30+ years of large-scale manufacturing leadership, from greenfield factory builds in South-East Asia to running €3B operations across Europe, and a deep belief that the shop floor is where everything happens.

After 30 years running large manufacturing operations, I wanted to learn something new without leaving what I love. The action has always been on the shop floor, and now I continue to make life better for the people who actually make things happen, just in a completely different way. Something I couldn't do before.

Many years of manufacturing experience, now powering the next chapter of EZ Factory.

The most expensive sentence in manufacturing:

"That's just how we've always done it."

Change is not always better. But this sentence stops the question from being asked.

And the question: "Why do we do it this way?", is where every improvement starts.

The factories winning right now are the ones where that question is safe to ask.
