My mother and I were kicked out of our palce and lived on the streets for 3 months..
The owner decided to raise the rate, something which happens more often. However, normally it's raised with a few dollars, not with 140 (!) percent. Anyways, this sudden increase put us out on the streets. We tried to make a deal with the owner, but he already found a new resident. It all happened so fast, that one day when I came out of work, our furniture was put in the front yard.
As my mother has been declared unfit, I was the only one providing for the two of us. I was working a night shift at a local fast food chain and besides that, I worked in a carwash during the day. Together, this was barely enough to pay for our previous place. The hunt for a new place to live was therefore very difficult. Every place which required a deposit rejected us instantly. We decided to get a storage box so we could at least make sure our furniture would remain in an acceptable state.
As I worked night shifts in a restaurant, I didn't really need a place to stay. However my mother, normally sat at home all day. For her, this was a very hard time. Luckily it was summer back then, so she would spent the most of her time in the park. At night, she would be at the restaurant I worked, so at least she wouldn't be alone.
Being part of a digital generation, I felt I had to grab some of the opportunities this era was providing. I started to look into different ways of providing some $ for my mother. I looked into all different kind of opportunities but horribly enough, everything required a fairly high start amount. What to do, what to do? Meanwhile, my mother was significantly decaying. Obviously it's not easy to be out there all day when you are in your mid 40's.
I decided I had just to go for it. I would place my faith in 3 different options, as I was convinced one of them would work. Option 1 costed me less than 10 bucks, but after 2 weeks, these 10 bucks were gone like dust in the wind. Two options remained and even though I'm not completely unsatisfied about option 2 (I didn't lose anything, but I didn't gain anything either), it was nothing compared to option 3.
Option 3 was an app which would build me websites. These websites would then generate more $ and then I could create even more websites making even more. To come to the point: I started with an initial 45 bucks. This was a lot for me back then, so I was praying it would work out. As I was still working 80 hours a week, I had my mother check the app regularly. When she was sitting at the restaurant during my night shift, she started shouting. "COME LOOK SWEETIE, LOOK!".
I was afraid something terrible was happening, well it wasn't. The app multiplied my amount by 4.5x! Being very cautious, I just returned to the kitchen and continued my shift. The next day, the amount tripled AGAIN. My mother couldn't believe it and said we found the golden nugget we were always dreaming about. 3 months later and we got a roof above our heads again (this time of our own). My mother is the happiest woman in the world and I can even spend more time with her!
This was really our last lifeline and it worked out for the best. Now, I want more people to experience this. I know more people are in miserable situations, without a light at the end of the tunnel. For these people, and just all people who could use a little extra, I would like you to take a look at this app. Besides, if it can change my life, why wouldn't it do the same for you?
