2026 is bringing some real changes for ZZP'ers in the Netherlands.

Here's a quick rundown:
Box 1 rates are going up. The zelfstandigenaftrek drops to around €1,240, down roughly €600 from last year. Cash payments over €3k now need to be traceable, and BTW on logies has jumped to 21%.

On the EV side, bijtelling stays at 18% on the first €30k, which is still pretty favorable.

And if you work with clients on a freelance basis, the Wet DBA/VAR presumption rules are shifting, so it's worth reviewing your contracts sooner rather than later.
