This is part 3 of the Kiiroo Keon 1 vs. Keon 2 comparison and we’re looking at everything around the device.

One of the goals with Keon 2 was to improve the wider system without making existing accessories unnecessarily obsolete. That meant keeping compatibility where it made sense, while reconsidering the areas where we knew there was room to improve.

In this final part, we put the accessories and packaging of both generations side by side, including a closer look at the new Multifunctional Pillow and how the approach to protecting Keon has changed between generations. There’s also more planned for the Keon 2 accessory ecosystem, so what you see here isn’t the end of it.

This is Part 2 of our Kiiroo Keon 1 vs. Keon 2 comparison series, and this time, we’re comparing acoustic performance, standalone control, power delivery, and how Keon 2 expands what you can do without relying on a connected app.

You’ll hear both generations running under the same conditions, see how the new front mounted controls work while Keon 2 is in motion, and get a glimpse of the new Finisher Mode. We also break down the move from Micro USB to USB C Power Delivery, including what’s required to run Keon 2 at full performance.

Some of the biggest changes between generations aren’t obvious when the machines are sitting next to each other. This video is about showing what those engineering decisions actually mean once you press start.

The custom foam insert is engineered to locate and support the device at specific contact points, helping minimize movement during transport while reducing unnecessary stress on the housing. Combined with the rigid inner tray and outer box, the packaging works as a complete protective system from our production line all the way to your doorstep.
 
We also designed it with long term storage in mind. If you ever need to pack your Keon 2 away, move house, or simply prefer storing it in its original box, the custom foam helps keep the device securely supported and protected until it’s time to use it again.
 
For a precision electromechanical device like the Kiiroo Keon 2, protecting alignment during shipping and storage is just as important as protecting the finish. The goal is simple: every unit should perform exactly as it did when it left production, whether you unbox it on day one or six months later.
 
Sometimes the engineering doesn’t stop at the product itself.
