🔬 Proof of Concept (PoC) - Can this work at all?
🎨 Prototype - Does this feel right to users?
🚀 MVP - Will people actually use and pay for this?

The mistake isn't confusing the definitions.

The mistake is building the wrong thing for the question you're trying to answer.

Build an MVP when a prototype would do, and you may waste weeks of engineering time.

Build a prototype when you need an MVP, and you might never learn whether the business actually works.

Before starting a project, ask:

The healthiest teams don't try to eliminate technical debt completely.
