More to show from our work for hydroformations
The long-term research programme ‘Hydroformations’ engages the Rhine River as living and lively, and develops artistic methods that think and sense with the river. Initiated in 2024 by Xandra van der Eijk, the programme investigates the questions: How do you meet a river on their own terms? How can you sense a river’s nature, their being? How do you get to know a river?
Research, investigation and discovery became the core principles of the identity and website as well. The research doesn’t follow a linear path, moving through different times, perspectives, bodies and beings, creating new and unexpected connections along the way.
The website visualises this ongoing process and invites visitors to explore and make their own connections, meeting the river from different perspectives.
The website keeps flowing as the research develops.
