In February, Poland's data protection authority fined DPD Polska about โ‚ฌ2.7 million in total (PLN 11 million) for two failures. One of them: no data processing agreements with the carriers handling its parcels. The company's argument was that the carriers were only moving boxes. The regulator's view: the parcels carry personal data, so the carriers were processors.
