For MSX2 GOTO40, former Konami Kukeiha Club member TECHNOuchi once again crafted a special mix, this time featuring remixes of 40 tracks from beloved Konami MSX2 games. If you attended MSX2 GOTO40, you not only saw TECHNOuchi perform this music live but also received a CD of the mix for free.

For those who couldn’t make it, or would like an extra copy as a (Christmas) gift, here’s your chance! We have a limited number of CDs available, priced at EUR 15.00 plus shipping.

We also have a very limited number of copies signed by TECHNOuchi, priced at EUR 20.00 plus shipping. Act fast: once they’re gone, they’re gone for good!

The celebration doesn’t end when MSX2 GOTO40 wraps up! Join us for the Official MSX2 GOTO40 Afterparty™ at Blast Galaxy — Amsterdam’s ultimate arcade paradise.

Blast Galaxy transforms the classic coin-op experience into a free-play wonderland, while keeping the true spirit of the golden arcade era alive. Expect a great atmosphere, tasty food and drinks, and over 100 arcade machines to enjoy — plus a few MSX classics!

Normal entry is €15, but show your MSX2 GOTO40 wristband for free entrance!

Practical information for visitors MSX2 GOTO40

On Saturday, September 13, Zonnehuis Amsterdam will transform into the ultimate meeting place for MSX fans from around the world.

This time we have two halls: the large hall “Outer Heaven” and the smaller hall “Junker HQ”, each with its own entrance. From the balcony on the second floor, you’ll have an excellent view of the main stage.

The doors open at 09:30 (instead of the previously announced 10:00). On the -1 floor, you’ll find the restrooms and the cloakroom to leave your coat or bag. Due to the expected crowds, we recommend using the cloakroom; the cost is €1.

From 11:30 to 14:30, delicious lunch sandwiches will be available in the foyer, with choices including rendang, chicken ketjap, chicken satay, cheese, tofu omelet with peanut sauce, and tuna. The bar will be open all day for drinks and snacks.

We can’t believe MSX2 GOTO40 is already happening next week!

It’s going to be a day full of exciting activities: talks, live music, unique exhibits, meet & greets, and more.

We’re excited to welcome many people and groups from the MSX community who will be showcasing their new projects, such as classic game localizations, innovative hardware developments, limited-edition releases, and more. There’s plenty to explore, try out, share, and buy.

The full MSX2 GOTO40 schedule is now online!

On September 13, we’ll open the doors of Zonnehuis Amsterdam at 10:00 and celebrate MSX until 17:00 with a day packed full of presentations, live music, meet & greets, and deep-dive tech talks.

Highlights include:
- A keynote by Kazuhiko Nishi, sharing fresh updates on the MSX3.
- An exclusive DJ set by Yuji “TECHNOuchi” Takenouchi, remixing Konami MSX2 classics created just for this event.
- A special presentation by Naoki Satoh, the graphic designer behind Konami’s iconic logos and packaging that defined the MSX era.
- An intimate piano performance by composer Miki Higashino, featuring some of her most beloved works.
- Tech talks by Nestór Soriano and Stephan Smetsers on pushing MSX hardware to new frontiers.
- A nostalgic panel, Memories from the MSX Days, where Satoh, Higashino, and TECHNOuchi share personal stories from Konami in the 80s.

And of course, plenty of chances to meet our guests in person, snap a photo, or get something signed.

We know we've been a bit quiet, but rest assured: behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard on MSX2 GOTO40!

First things first: over 75% of tickets have already been sold! We've even surpassed the total ticket count of MSX GOTO40 — but thanks to the addition of a second event space, we’re able to welcome even more visitors this time.
