Get ready for livestreaming in seconds with this 3-step quickstart guide:

1. Play audio on your mixer and check the LEVEL indicator on Howler. If the LEVEL indicator is green the volume is correct, when it is red the volume is too loud.

2. Connect a phone, tablet or computer to the USB-C port on your Howler with a USB-C cable. The USB AUDIO indicator will turn blue when a connection is made.

3. Start a livestream on your favorite streaming platform. The USB AUDIO indicator will slowly pulse blue while the livestream is active.

1. Select your recording format by setting the Mode switch to WAV or MP3.

2. Play audio on your mixer and check the LEVEL indicator on Howler. If the LEVEL indicator is green the volume is correct, when it is red the volume is too loud.

3. Press the RECORD button to start recording. While recording, the RECORD button slowly pulses red. Press the RECORD button again to stop and save your recording.

The Howler MK2 is here. Here is what is new:

The most-requested feature is now a reality: record to the included microSD and livestream at the same time. No more choosing between the two. A recording can be started mid-stream, or a stream kicked off while already recording.

The internals have been significantly upgraded, meaning the MK2 boots almost instantly, transfers files quicker than ever, and WAV recording is now completely gapless with no pauzes between files.

On the hardware side, the redesigned power button requires a brief hold to turn on or off and will never shut down during a recording. The LED indicators now convey more information at a glance, and the new model is more compact than its predecessor.

File timestamps are now set correctly straight out of the device, keeping recordings organised automatically. Future firmware updates are as simple as connecting via USB-C and visiting our update page.
