Lootsec ➡️ We are Lootsec, “Your trusted partner against cyberthreats” 🕷️ Lootsec was founded in 2019 in Amsterdam, Netherlands by two Greek Cybersecurity Experts.

Our company has a rich history that can be traced all the way back to 2011, when our founders had a vision: use their knowledge to provide businesses with custom cybersecurity solutions that would actually work for them. We've seen common mistake patterns repeatedly throughout our careers. Companies used an "one-solution fits all" approach that gave a false sense of security instead of tackling is

sues from bottom-up. Today, after 10 years in the IT industry and with more knowledge than ever before behind us, we decided to take the step forward into creating Lootsec and making our mission our reality. Lootsec has a proven track record of providing comprehensive, high-quality services covering all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including Design and Architecture Review, Security Operation & Management, Audit & Compliance, Trainings and Awareness ensuring the Confidentiality, Availability and Integrity of your Assets. As digital security becomes increasingly important and needs to be safeguarded by professionals, Lootsec provides cybersecurity services, as well as customized solutions to protect your assets and infrastructure. Our team of highly trained security experts can help you identify any vulnerabilities in your systems, software, and infrastructure before they are exploited by hackers. We provide a full range of offensive cybersecurity services to ensure the protection of your data and systems. Our pe*******on testing service helps you identify weaknesses in your systems/networks security so that you can fix them before malicious actors do. We also provide red teaming services that allow us to act as an adversary and test your defenses from an attack perspective. We also offer GDPR assessments to ensure your company is in compliance with the new regulations. Our DevSecOps service helps organizations adopt a DevOps approach to development in order to improve efficiency while maintaining security standards. We provide secure code review services to ensure that the codebase for your applications is free from bugs and vulnerabilities that could be exploited by attackers. Finally, we offer security awareness training that can help employees understand how they can protect themselves against threats while they use company resources at work.

🛡️Don't let your business become the next headline in a data breach story.

➡️ Threat intelligence is the key to staying ahead of cyberattackers in the business world.

By gathering and analysing information on known and emerging threats, security teams can anticipate and defend against cyber-attacks more effectively. It allows businesses to target their efforts and resources where they are most needed, to take action before a threat can cause harm, and to stay informed on the ever-evolving threat landscape.

Invest in threat intelligence to proactively identify and neutralise potential threats.

Pe*******on testing, also known as "pentesting," is a critical method in offensive security, the practice of actively attacking and exploiting vulnerabilities in a system to identify weaknesses and improve defences.

By simulating a real-world cyber attack, pentesting helps organizations identify and prioritize vulnerabilities that need to be addressed, as well as provide recommendations for improving their security posture.

Pe*******on testing, also known as pen testing or ethical hacking, is a process of simulating an attack on an organization's systems to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in their security. 🛡️ Cybersecurity awareness training is an essential component of any good cybersecurity strategy. Companies need to make sure that their employees understand the dangers and risks associated with using computers and the internet, as well as how to mitigate those risks.

This training should also be accessible to all employees, regardless of their level or department. If you have a large company, it's important that you have some sort of centralized cybersecurity program in place so that all employees are getting the same information at the same time.

The goal of this type of training is not just to make sure your employees know what they're doing online; it's also about making sure they can recognize when something might be wrong with their devices, computers, or systems.

❗According to 's State of cybersecurity resilience 2021 report, a total of 82% of organisations have admitted to increasing their cybersecurity budgets over the past year, with these funds accounting for up to 15% of total IT spending.

💯 This is significant because it shows that more and more companies are seeing the need to invest in their cybersecurity infrastructure in order to protect themselves from attacks and other security issues.

📈 The increase in spending also shows that companies are taking a proactive approach to securing their business, which is important for any business owner who wants their company's data protected. These findings are not surprising given the fact that cybercrime is on the rise.

That's why, at Lootsec, we're committed to providing our customers with the best possible service. We also offer free telephone consultations, so you can get advice from our experts about how best to protect your company.

Red teaming is a valuable part of the cybersecurity landscape, but it can be difficult to get right.

The red team is an extra layer of security that looks at potential vulnerabilities in your system and helps you secure them before they become real problems. Ideally, red teaming should be used as part of an overall security strategy that includes things like vulnerability assessment and pe*******on testing.

But what does "red teaming" actually mean? It's not just about finding vulnerabilities—it's about understanding how the people who might exploit those vulnerabilities think and act. Red teaming requires knowledge of hacker tactics and techniques so that you can predict their moves ahead of time and prevent them from succeeding in breaching your system.

This requires a lot of preparation on the part of both sides: the red team needs to know how hackers work, so they can anticipate their actions, while the company being tested needs to understand what makes their systems vulnerable, so they can fix it before it becomes an actual problem.

In cybersecurity, red teaming is all about thinking like the enemy. It's a way of using your skills to simulate an attack and then look at how you could improve your own defenses.

Blue teaming, on the other hand, is all about finding holes in your own system and patching them before they get exploited by real-world hackers. It's also a great way to test your security strategy before it goes live!

You can't do this alone. You need support from both teams in order to stay safe.

The main reason why companies are not taking action against cyberattacks is that they are not aware of the steps they can take to prevent them. They often think that it is enough to install security software on their computers and hire a few IT specialists who will take care of everything else. However, this approach does not work because most employees do not know what to do in case of an attack or how to respond if one occurs.

While cyberattacks have reached an all-time high, the solution is not to focus on technical measures alone. Instead, it's time to bolster your security culture and make sure that your employees know what they need to do in case of a breach.

Phishing attacks are a growing problem for businesses, as they are for consumers.

The reason behind this increase is simple: phishing attacks are very easy to carry out, and they're often successful because they rely on social engineering techniques that fool people into giving away their personal information or clicking on malicious links.

Social media companies like Facebook and Twitter are among the most common targets of phishing attacks because they rely on people sharing personal information with their friends—which makes it easier for hackers to extract sensitive information from these platforms.

Businesses can also be targeted by phishing attacks if they give away too much personal information about their employees or customers online through company websites or social media accounts. This information can be used by hackers as part of a larger blackmail scheme against an organization's leadership team.
