Before pursuing formal education, I started learning how to code through online courses. At one point, I got stuck while learning JavaScript. I could write the syntax, but I struggled with the logic. I had ideas, but I couldn’t translate them into code.

When it comes to the subject of responsive design, the first thing that comes to the mind of frontend developers is CSS media queries. While there are layouting methods like Flexbox and Grid that aid responsive design, there is a concept in responsive design that is often overlooked by frontend developers. Whereas applying this concept can make your layouts super responsive.

The best way to build a responsive website is by designing for mobile first, which is often overlooked. Most developers design for large screens (desktops and laptops) and struggle to hide extraneous design elements on mobile, and then go searching for standard breakpoints for design—which is not a thing (there's no such thing as standard breakpoints). Designing for mobile first helps you prioritize the core elements in your design, and instead of searching for breakpoints, you simply expand the width and add more content to your designs for large screens.

This concept of mobile-first design will save you from a lot of stress. It’s much easier to write media query code for large screens than for mobile. Integrate it into your workflow today—design from down up, not up down.

I love the Chinese, there was ChatGpt, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity AI. They could have thought, we can use these existing tools, but somebody decided to create Deepseek AI. Unless we start contributing and creating our own technology there's no future.
