'It Depends!'
I want you to meet Tee Jay Uwah (Torojah Uwah)
From the moment we kicked off our first physical CCNA class with team Orion, he was the first to walk in—and true to form, he’s stayed consistently early, eager, and dependable ever since. Back then, he was reserved, quiet... the kind who’d sit back and observe. But somewhere along the line, he got comfortable—and boom, the real him stepped out. Let’s just say, the classroom’s been more lively (and occasionally chaotic) ever since.
He became the unofficial “last man standing,” always hanging back after class—not to loiter, but to help pack up, fix chairs, and reset the room like a true team player. You don’t teach that kind of heart. That’s just who he is.
And when it comes to grasping concepts? Sharp like that. He picks things up quickly, and then, just to spice things up—he starts asking for more tasks during lab sessions. The look on his colleagues' faces? Priceless😂😂😂.
Oh, and the quizzes? If he gets the answer right (which is often), you’ll hear him say, "Cheap question," with mock arrogance that always gets a laugh. But the best part? Ask him a question with an obvious answer, and he’ll look at you with a straight face and say, "It depends."
You could literally ask him 2+2 and get 'it depends' as an answer😭. And somehow, it’s hilarious every time. (Maybe because we taught them 'that the correct answer to any tech question is “it depends.”🤣)
Also… we have this inside joke, born from one infamous celebrity moment. All I’ll say is: "Make men taste this cake na." If you know, you know. 😂
Torojah, you’ve grown from the quiet guy in the front row to the lively, confident engineer-in-the-making we all respect (and occasionally side-eye when you ask for more lab work).
Having you with us has been an absolute pleasure—proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. We know you’re going places, and wherever you end up, we know you’ll walk in first, make sense of the room, and leave it better than you found it.
