Applications are now open for the 2026 National Girls in ICT Competition. This competition is part of our Ministry's broader commitment to closing the gender gap in ICT and ensuring more girls across Nigeria are equipped with the digital skills needed to thrive in the future economy.

About:
The National Girls in ICT – Innovate, Code & Lead Nigeria is a national flagship initiative of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, implemented in alignment with Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda under the leadership of Dr. Bosun Tijani, Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.

The initiative is designed to advance inclusive digital participation, gender equity in technology, and future workforce readiness by equipping schoolgirls across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with practical ICT skills, innovation capabilities, and leadership confidence.

Leveraging a decentralized delivery model through Innovation Hubs (one per state/FCT), the programme combines:
- A one-month hands-on ICT training
- State-level innovation showcases
- A regional and national convergence
- The establishment of sustainable Girls Code Clubs in schools

It is a team-based initiative empowering girls aged 10–16 (JS1–SS3) to develop innovative technology solutions addressing challenges in Agriculture, Education, or Health.

Selected teams will participate in structured training and mentorship sessions to build digital skills and confidence.

Please note:
- Applications must be submitted as a team of 2–3 girls.
- School approval and parent/guardian consent are required.
- Participants stand a chance to win exciting prizes including laptops, tablets, Raspberry Pi kits, Quarky robotics kits and more.

There’s no “perfect” type — only growth. 🌱

Some days you feel unstoppable.
Some days you’re figuring things out.
Some days you’re just showing up… and that still matters.

Every small step compounds. Every effort moves you forward. 💻✨

This is a space to grow at your own pace.
Which one sounds like you most days? 💬

In rooms like this:

• Code becomes products
• Questions become clarity
• Skills become confidence
• Training becomes opportunity
• Talent becomes economic power

We are not a casual training centre.

We are building Africa’s Tech Workforce Engine — a structured system that moves talent from:

Learning → Ex*****on → Products → Startups → Jobs → Revenue

Every conversation matters.
Every project matters.
Every learner matters.

Why?

Because we understand something most institutions miss:

Tech education without deployment is incomplete.
Innovation without skill depth is fragile.
Startups without trained ex*****on teams collapse.

That’s why at Wedigraf, we integrate:

- Deep, industry-aligned training
- Real-world project collaboration
- Product development environments
- Startup incubation pathways
- Job-linked outcomes

Africa does not have a talent problem.
Africa has a systems problem.

Across the continent, millions of young people are learning tech skills every year. Coding bootcamps, hubs, online courses, innovation spaces, and accelerators continue to grow. Yet the outcomes remain fragmented:

Training without jobs
Skills without deployment
Startups without ex*****on muscle
Innovation without revenue
Talent without scale

The missing piece has never been motivation or intelligence.
It has always been infrastructure.

At Wedigraf Technologies Ltd, the mission is simple but ambitious:
to build the infrastructure that trains, deploys, and scales Africa’s tech talent — end to end.

Not a school.
Not a bootcamp.
Not an incubator.

An engine.

The Core Insight: Training Alone Is Not Enough

Most tech institutions stop at education.
Some extend into innovation.
A few dabble in startups or partnerships.

But none are built to consistently move talent through a full value chain:

Talent → Products → Startups → Jobs → Revenue

When training exists in isolation, graduates struggle to transition into real work.
When innovation exists without talent pipelines, ex*****on slows.
When startups exist without structured skill development, teams break under pressure.

Wedigraf was designed to solve this gap deliberately.

Wedigraf’s Model: Outcome-Driven by Design

Every part of Wedigraf’s structure is judged by outcomes, not activity.

Not:

“How many people attended?”
“How good was the event?”
“How impressive was the demo?”

But:

How many people were trained to industry standard?
How many were deployed into real work?
How many products shipped?
How many startups formed?
How many jobs created?
How much revenue generated?

This is the difference between programs and infrastructure.

Two Arms. One System.

Wedigraf operates as a single integrated system with two tightly connected arms:

1. Wedigraf Tech Hub — Talent Production

The Academy is responsible for producing high-volume, high-quality tech talent across critical tracks:

Software Engineering
Cybersecurity
Data & Artificial Intelligence
Cloud Computing & DevOps
Product Management & UI/UX
& lots more...

Training is:

Deep, not light
Industry-aligned, not generic
Project-driven, not theory-heavy

Learners are not passed based on attendance.
They progress based on demonstrated competence.

Every graduate exits with:

- A verifiable portfolio
- Real-world project experience
- Job readiness benchmarks
- Certification or specialization targets

2. Wedigraf Innovation Labs — Ex*****on at Scale

Training alone does not create economic value.
Ex*****on does.

Wedigraf Innovation Labs exists to absorb trained talent into real production environments.

This includes:

Product Labs
Where trainees work in squads to build:

SaaS tools
Internal platforms
MVPs for real users

These are not demos.
They are shipped products with users, feedback, and iteration cycles.

Venture Studio
The strongest products graduate into startups.

Here:

Founding teams are formed from top trainees and lab engineers
Products are refined into investable companies

Wedigraf retains minority equity to ensure sustainability

This flips the traditional model:
Startups don’t look for talent.
Talent creates startups.

Corporate & GovTech Lab

Advanced trainees and graduates work on:

- Software builds
- Cybersecurity audits
- Data and automation projects
- Digital transformation initiatives

These are paid, real-world engagements.
Revenue feeds back into training, labs, and expansion.

Talent Deployment Office
This is where the loop closes.

Wedigraf actively deploys talent into:

- Full-time roles
- Contract work
- Remote opportunities
- Startup teams

Success is measured in:

- Placement rates
- Salary uplift
- Employer satisfaction
- Time-to-deployment

Why This Model Scales

Wedigraf is not built for exclusivity.
It is built for scale with quality.

-Key structural advantages:
- Standardized curriculum across hubs
- Shared quality benchmarks
- Senior experienced instructors
- Lean physical hub model
- Centralized assessment and reporting

This allows Wedigraf to operate:

- Multiple physical hubs
- Standardized remote delivery
- Pan-African satellite expansion

All running on the same playbook.

Measuring “ #1” the Right Way

Being #1 is not a slogan.
It is a measurable position.

By design, Wedigraf judges leadership by data:

- Learners trained
- Products shipped
- Startups formed
- Jobs created
- Revenue generated
- Partners onboarded

These metrics are tracked and published deliberately.

Because impact that cannot be measured cannot be scaled.

The Bigger Picture: Why This Matters for Africa

Africa’s future will not be built by isolated excellence.
It will be built by systems that compound talent at scale.

Governments need deployable skills.
Companies need ex*****on-ready teams.
Startups need builders, not just ideas.
Young people need clear pathways from learning to livelihood.

Wedigraf exists at the intersection of all four.

Not as a connector.
Not as a convener.
But as infrastructure.

The next phase of Africa’s tech story will not be defined by who hosts the most events or raises the loudest rounds.

It will be defined by who can reliably produce talent, turn skills into value, and compound outcomes across the continent.

That is the work Wedigraf has chosen to do.

Relentlessly.
Systematically.
At scale.

February Isn’t Late. It’s a Second Chance.

January came with promises.
February comes with honesty.

By now, reality has set in. Life got busy. Fear crept in. Doubt whispered, “Maybe later.”
And you might be wondering if you’ve already fallen behind.

You haven’t.

If learning a tech skill has been on your mind, hear this—quietly, clearly, honestly:
you are not late. You are still allowed to begin.

Most people don’t fail because they can’t do it.
They fail because they keep waiting to feel ready.

More confidence.
More money.
More certainty.

But growth rarely starts with comfort.
Careers don’t change when motivation shows up.
They change when someone decides, “I can’t stay here anymore.”

Now pause and think forward.

When this year is almost over…
When 2026 is nearing its end…
Will you be proud of what you started—or regret what you postponed?

The future isn’t something that suddenly arrives.
It’s shaped quietly, daily, by small commitments.
Tech skills grow like that—slow at first, then powerful.

Learning tech isn’t about trends or buzzwords.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about choice.
It’s about knowing you have something valuable to offer the world.

Starting now gives you something priceless: peace.
You learn without panic.
You grow without shame.
You build confidence while others are still convincing themselves it’s “not time yet.”

You don’t need to know everything.
You don’t need to be fearless.
You don’t need permission.

You just need one brave decision.

February isn’t late.
February is you choosing yourself.

At Wedigraf Technologies Ltd, we help people turn quiet determination into real, practical tech skills—skills that move lives forward.

Your future is listening.
What you do now speaks loudest.

A few years ago, David was already “managing projects.”
Deadlines. Teams. Budgets. Pressure.

But every time a bigger opportunity showed up
international projects, senior roles, better pay
the same thing blocked him:

“Do you have a recognized project management certification?”

That question is why project management certifications matter.

Not because experience is useless
but because certifications translate your experience into global language.

Let’s break them down:

The Big Three Everyone Talks About
1. PMP — Project Management Professional
Offered by Project Management Institute (PMI)
Think of PMP as the gold standard.

It tells employers:

“This person has led complex projects and understands global best practices.”

Who it’s for:
- Experienced project managers
- Team leads handling large budgets
- Professionals aiming for senior or international roles

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree + 36 months project experience
or
- Secondary education + 60 months experience

35 hours of PM education

What makes it powerful:
- Highly respected globally
- Salary boost in many industries
- Tough exam = strong credibility

2. CAPM — Certified Associate in Project Management

Also by PMI

CAPM is the entry door into project management.

Perfect for people who are:
- Early in their career
- Switching into project management
- Supporting projects but not leading yet

Requirements:

- Secondary education
- 23 hours of project management training

Why CAPM matters:
- No experience barrier
- Shows foundational PM knowledge
- Often used as a stepping stone to PMP

3: PRINCE2 — Projects IN Controlled Environments

Owned by Axelos

PRINCE2 is process-heavy and structured.

It’s popular in:
- Government projects
- NGOs
- UK & Europe-focused organizations

Levels:
- Foundation (entry)
- Practitioner (advanced)

Requirements:
- Foundation: none
- Practitioner: Foundation certificate

What makes PRINCE2 different:
- Methodology-focused
- Less experience-based
- Strong for regulated environments

So… Which One Should You Choose?

Choose CAPM if:

- You’re new to project management
- You want credibility without experience barriers

Choose PMP if:

- You already manage projects
- You want higher pay, senior roles, or global mobility

Choose PRINCE2 if:

- You work with governments, NGOs, or UK/EU systems
- You prefer structured methodologies

One Important Truth Most People Don’t Tell You

A certification alone won’t make you a great project manager.
But without one, many doors won’t even open.

Certifications:
- Validate your experience
- Standardize your knowledge
- Make recruiters trust you faster

They don’t replace skill —
they amplify it.

In a world where projects are getting:
bigger
more complex
more global

project managers who speak the global language of delivery will always stand out.

Ready to take the next step?

✅ Start with the right certification
✅ Get proper exam-focused training
✅ Build confidence, not guesswork

Your career deserves structure.
Your experience deserves recognition.
