The call for a new Nigeria is an age-old one. Far too long have our cries for a better country been ignored, far too long have we been fed the fruits of a rotten system. We deserve a system that works for the youth, as well as every member of our great nation.

The protests against police brutality in Nigeria is more than the issue it addresses. It is more than us as a people. Like us, people all over the world are finding their feet and standing up against systems that threaten their survival. So speak up! for we are not alone, the universe is on our side. History will remember these times and future generations will thank us for our courage.

Please be sure to pay attention to your safety and your family's as you protest. Remember to observe the standard COVID-19 safety protocols. Wash your hands often, wear a facemask and pray God heals our land soon. Your life matters above everything else.
