YOU CAN LEARN ALMOST ANY SKILL FOR FREEE!

I always get the question, i want to learn a skill but I don't have money or know where to start.

There was a time when the biggest barrier to learning a skill was access, and huge funds.

You needed to know someone, you had to pay for expensive training, you had to travel to another city.

Today, the biggest barrier for many people is no longer information, for me it's discipline and commitment.

I strongly believe that...
IF YOU CAN AFFORD DATA, YOU CAN LEARN ALMOST ANY SKILL.

Graphic Design.
UI/UX Design.
Software Development.
Data Analysis.
Digital Marketing.
Video Editing.
Content Creation.
Copywriting.
Cybersecurity.
AI.
And many more.

Thousands of free lessons are available on YouTube, free learning platforms, blogs, documentation, podcasts and online communities.

The problem is not that there are no resources.
The problem is that many people spend hours scrolling through entertainment but say they don't have the opportunity to learn.

You don't need to know everything before you start.

Pick one skill.
Find a beginner-friendly learning path, you can literally craft a full study guide with ChatGPT or Claude.
Then you can discipline yourself to practice every day.
Build projects as high learn along.
Ask questions.
Keep improving.

Many people earning a good income today started with nothing more than a smartphone, a laptop, an internet connection and the willingness to stay consistent.

Your data subscription can either be an expense or an investment.

The choice is yours.

But by all means, ensure you are very productive WITH YOUR LAPTOP.

Don't Mistake the HP EliteBook 840R G4 for the Regular 840 G4!

One of the most misunderstood HP laptops is the EliteBook 840r G4.
Many people see the "G4" and assume it's the same as the regular 840 G4. It isn't

Here's the difference you need to note:
HP EliteBook 840 G3
- 6th Generation Intel Processor
- Great for everyday tasks
HP EliteBook 840 G4
- 7th Generation Intel Processor
- Slightly faster than the G3
HP EliteBook 840r G4
- 8th Generation Intel Processor
- Up to 4 cores and 8 threads
- Much better for multitasking
- Faster for programming, graphic design, cybersecurity, office work, and running multiple applications at once

Here's the interesting part
The 840r G4 looks almost identical to the regular 840 G4. Same premium build, same 14-inch display, similar ports and features. In-fact there's physically no difference. The biggest difference is the processor inside.

So if you're shopping for a UK-used laptop and you come across an 840r G4, don't overlook that little "r". It makes a noticeable difference in performance.

At Akims Computer Services, we don't just sell laptops, we help you understand what you're buying so you can make the right choice.
We have a solid 840R G4 available in stock for _chikini money_.

HP Elitebook 840R G4
Intel Core i5-8300U @ 2.7Ghz
8GB RAM / 256GB SSD
8th Generation
Backlit Keyboard
1920x1080 14” FHD Display

‎Between Dell Latitude 5000 Series and 7000 Series... Which One Is Better?
‎
‎The answer is very simple...
‎
‎The Dell Latitude 7000 Series is better.
‎
‎But that doesn't automatically mean it's the best choice for you always...
‎
‎Here's why.
‎
‎The 7000 Series is Dell's premium business lineup. It usually comes with:
‎• Better build quality
‎• Brighter and more color-accurate display
‎• Lighter and slimmer design
‎• Better keyboard and trackpad
‎• More premium materials
‎
‎While, the 5000 Series, on the other hand, is built to balance performance and affordability. You still get excellent performance, but at a lower price.
‎
‎So here's my advice...
‎
‎If your budget allows, go for the 7000 Series.
‎
‎But if you want the best value for your money, the 5000 Series is hard to beat. In fact, most people won't notice the difference in everyday tasks like Microsoft Office, browsing, coding, graphic design, or even light video editing.
‎
‎But here is what you need to know before buying any of them
‎
‎Don't buy a laptop based on the series alone.
‎
‎Also pay attention to:
‎• Processor generation
‎• RAM size
‎• SSD capacity
‎• Screen resolution
‎• Whether it has dedicated graphics (if your work requires it)
‎
‎A well-specced Latitude 5000 Series can easily outperform a poorly-specced Latitude 7000 Series.
‎
‎For example, An 8th Generation Dell Latitude 5400 with 16GB RAM and 512 SSD will outperform A Dell 7470 of 6 or 7th generation with the same RAM and Storage.
‎
‎So ensure you check full specs first, then factored in the series after.

Between HP, Dell and a MacBook which should I go for?
This is one of the questions I get almost every week.
"Akim, which one is the best laptop brand?"
The truth is... there is no universally "best" laptop brand.
The best laptop is the one that fits what you want to do and your budget at the time.
For example...
If you're a student, freelancer, office worker, graphic designer, programmer, or video editor, both HP and Dell can serve you very well depending on the model and specifications.
Dell laptops are generally known for their durability, business-class build quality, and easy availability of spare parts.
HP laptops are loved for their sleek designs, beautiful displays, and a wide range of options for different budgets.
Then we have the MacBook.
MacBooks are excellent machines with fantastic battery life, premium build quality, and smooth performance. They are especially popular among content creators, video editors, and professionals who are already invested in the Apple ecosystem.
But here's what many people don't know...
A laptop brand alone does not determine performance.
I've seen people buy a Dell that performs terribly and another Dell that performs like a beast.
I've seen HP laptops that struggle with simple tasks and HP laptops that handle heavy design and editing work effortlessly.
The difference is usually in the specifications, not the logo on the cover.
There's a MacBook Air 2020 that we have that I can't recommend over a Dell or HP within the same price range because of the specs.
So, instead of asking:
"Is HP better than Dell?"
You should be asking...
✔ What processor does it have?
✔ How much RAM does it have?
✔ Is it SSD or HDD?
✔ Does it have dedicated graphics, if your job requires dedicated graphics.
✔ What generation is the processor?
✔ What is the battery health like?
These questions matter more than the brand name.
My advice is always this one thing...
Stop buying logos and brand names alone
And Start buying specifications that fit your current needs and your current budget.
The right HP, Dell, or MacBook can serve you for years.
The wrong HP, Dell, or MacBook can frustrate you from day one.
And yes, if you need a good laptop that will serve you for many years... My DM is open for you.
Which laptop brand are you currently using and how has your experience been so far?
With love and premium laptop...
