How do you find an IP address of a Facebook user?

Find someone’s IP address: When chatting on facebook

First you got to find out the IP address of that User.

To Do so we will be using “netstat” command in windows. If you want to know the IP address of a specific person on facebook or orkut or any chat service, there is only one way: Just invite or ping him for a chat and while chat is ON open ‘Command Prompt‘ on your PC (Start >Run>cmd).

note: before trying this make sure you close all the other tabs in your browser, and only keep facebook open. Also if possible delete all the history and cache from your browser.

When command prompt opens Type the following command and hit Enter.

netstat -an
And you will get all established connections IP addresses there. Note down all the suspicious IP’s.

The Next Step is to Trace that user using his IP address.

To do so we will be using IP tracer service. Go to the below address and paste the IP address in the box that says “lookup this ip or website”, and it will show you the location of the user.

It will show you all the information about that user along with his ISP and a Location in the MAP. Now in the MAP Just click on “click for big ip address location” in the big picture you can actually zoom in. and try to recognize the area. If any serious matter just note down the ISP details in that page and contact them about the IP. They will respond you.

Other netstat commands:

-a Displays all connections and listening ports.
-e Displays Ethernet statistics. This may be combined with the -s option.
-n Displays addresses and port numbers in numerical form.
-p Proto Shows connections for the protocol specified by proto; proto may be TCP or UDP.
-s Option to display per-protocol statistics, proto may be TCP, UDP, or IP.
-r Displays the routing table.
-s Displays per-protocol statistics. By default, statistics are shown for TCP, UDP and IP; the
-p Option may be used to specify a subset of the default.

Step 1. Connect Android to PC To start with, install and run Android Data Recovery. Then connect Samsung device: Galaxy S7/S8 to PC with a USB cable that came with it.

Step 2. Allow for USB Debugging Turn on the Android device and touch for USB debugging. Then, the computer can access the connected portable device.

For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings"> "Applications"> "Development" > "USB debugging".

For Android 3.0 - 4.1: Go to "Settings" > "Developer options" > "USB debugging".

For Android 4.2 or newer: Hit "Settings" > "About phone". Tab "Build number" for 7 times till the dialogue box "You are under developer mode" occurs. Then go back to "Settings" > "Developer options" > "USB Debugging".

Step 3. Choose File Types to Recover When Samsung is successfully matched now, you will be asked to select files types that you are intended to restore. Tick whichever ones you want and then the "Next" button. Android Data Recovery will scan and check all your options in the connected Samsung.

Step 4. Analyze Device and Get Privilege to Scan Files In this step, the program will check device information and then try to get root permission. When the window as below occurs, turn on the connected Samsung. Then go the Samsung and hit "Allow/Grant/ Authorize" to make sure the root request is accepted.

Once the program gets root permission, it will enable a data scan. Scanning can take some time. During this process, please wait patiently.

Step 5. Preview and Recover Lost Files from Android Scanning is done! All the selected items are orderly sorted and listed at the left pane. Choose your wanted contents. They will be exhaustively shown in the table. If there is too much information, tap the "ON" icon and set to display the deleted items only. After that, choose all or some of them. And click "Recover", all that deleted files will be retrieved and saved on your computer.

Notes for Recovered Contents: The deleted files will be recovered to your computer. The following are the recoverable contents of each file type and in what format they will be saved on your computer.

If you have files that are important to you, make sure you always have a good backup of them!

Twitter

A very popular message broadcasting system that lets anyone send alphanumeric text messages up to 140 characters in length to a list of followers. Launched in 2006, Twitter was designed as a social network to keep friends and colleagues informed throughout the day. However, it became widely used for commercial and political purposes to keep customers, voters and fans up-to-date as well as to encourage feedback.

After establishing a Twitter account at www.twitter.com, individuals can import their e-mail addresses as well as use the Twitter search to locate and invite people. Twitter messages ("tweets") can be made public and sent to anyone requesting the feed, or they can be sent only to approved followers.

Messages can be sent and received via cellphone text messaging (SMS), the Twitter Web site or a third-party Twitter application. To follow a Twitter feed, the Twitter site and feed name become the URL; for example, Microsoft's Twitter feed is www.twitter.com/microsoft.

Forward that Tweet (Retweet)
Twitter becomes a viral conduit when users receive an interesting message and forward it to their followers. The ease of retweeting can quickly build large audiences.

Replies and Direct Messages (DMs)
Initially a one-way broadcast from writer to follower, Twitter added a reply function that turned Twitter into a discussion group service.

Tweets can also be private. Writers can send followers a private message called a "direct message" (DM), and followers can do likewise. Followers can also delete the DMs they sent, making them disappear from the writer's inbox. In July 2015, the length of a DM was increased from 140 to 10,000 characters.

@ Signs and # Hashtags
When someone replies to a Twitter posting, they use their Twitter account name preceded by an @ sign; for example, "."

A hashtag is a # prefix used to identify any topic so that it can be searched as a group. Hashtags are created for all major entities such as organizations, sports teams and political parties; however, they can be created for anything. For example, people commenting about a Twitter event in New York added the hashtag in their postings, and all those messages could be viewed as a group by searching for .

From Mobile Blogging to Microblogging
Twitter expanded "mobile blogging," the process of updating a blog from a cellphone, into updating a short activities blog (the "microblog") and immediately sending the update to followers.

Facebook

The most popular social networking site. Founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, the site is free to members and derives its revenue from ads. The name comes from the paper document with names and faces issued to college freshmen to help them get acquainted with each other. Using the search facilities, members can locate other Facebook members and "friend" them by sending them an invitation, or they can invite people to join Facebook (see Faceslam). Facebook offers instant messaging and photo sharing, and Facebook's e-mail is the only messaging system many students ever use.

Timeline/Wall, News Feed and Ticker
The Timeline (new format) or Wall (old format) is the area on Facebook where members post comments and their current status and location as well as upload photos and videos.

The News Feed shows the activity of the people and organizations members follow, while very active members see updates in real-time on their Ticker.

Profiles, Pages and Groups
There are three types of representation on Facebook. Individuals create a Facebook "Profile," which is normally a two-way interaction with friends. Businesses create a Facebook "Page" to promote products and brands. Also called a "Fan Page," all members are accepted as fans, and although comments can be posted by them, a Page is primarily a one-way broadcast from the business. In addition, Facebook provides demographic statistics about usage.

The third presence is a Facebook "Group," and any community of people may create one. Group administrators may accept all members or reject requests based on the Group's criteria.

Explosive Growth
Initially targeting Harvard students, Facebook was later opened to other universities and then high schools. In 2006, it allowed everyone to join and added a News Feed feature that would broadcast changes in members' pages to all Facebook users identified in their network of friends. It turned Facebook into a personalized social news service that by 2010 had more than 500 million members. Two years later, Facebook surpassed one billion users.

Facebook Platform
In 2007, Facebook introduced its application platform to developers. By 2010, more than a half million applications were available for business, education and entertainment. Games have been the most popular, and Facebook Credits were created to provide virtual money to spend while playing..

Beyond Personal

Facebook is not only a venue for personal information but is increasingly commercial. Vendors and celebrities use pages to publish product information and agendas.

Please follow me as we take our journey into MS SERVER INSTALLATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION. We started it on Monday, 9th March. We've been on it throughout the week. We are through with the introductions as well as advanced issues regarding Server. We also carried out practical experiments such as installations of Ms Server, installations of Active Directory, understanding of Domain n Domain name, Root n Child Domain, Trees, Forest, Organizational Units, Sites etc. In fact we made Server look like child's play. We are set to continue in that tempo next week by the grace of God.
