Today, I will like to enlighten us on Bartholin Cyst
For those that do not know.
Bartholin Cyst is a swell up with fluid buildup which occurs on one side of the va**na
Sometimes, this fluid become infected, and other times it's not infected. It could be painless as well as very painful.
The causes include, when One of the va**na glands becomes infected usually by bacteria or via sexually transmitted Infections.
DIAGNOSIS:
To diagnose a Bartholin Cyst, there could be;
* A performance of a pelvic exam
* Taking a sample of secretions From your virgina or cervix to test for a sexually transmitted Infections.
Recommendations of a test of the mass (BIOPSY) to check For cancerous cells, especially if you are postmenopausal or over 40.
One of the medical treatment of Bartholin Cyst include surgical removal of the fluid in the gland.
However, there are Home Remedies for it.
Also, Apple cider vinegar can be Used to treat an infected Bartholin Cyst.
It's very important to drink a lot of water through out the day.
