Would you rather have 100,000 followers or 100 paying customers?
Sounds like an easy question… until you think about what your business actually needs.
We often celebrate followers, likes, views, and reach because they’re easy to see.
But a big number doesn’t automatically mean a growing business.
You can have thousands of followers and still struggle to generate sales. You can also have a smaller audience that trusts your brand, makes enquiries, and actually buys.
That’s why your business objectives should come before vanity metrics.
If your goal is awareness, visibility may matter more.
If your goal is community, audience growth may matter.
If your goal is revenue, you’ll need to pay attention to metrics connected to customers and sales.
Don’t just measure what looks impressive. Measure what moves your business forward.
Now let’s debate:
100,000 followers OR 100 paying customers?
