Good Morning Innovative Minds.
So today I will be sharing the critical thinking leading to this particular design, read till the end.
I made this design last year, it is an exhibition kind of design, creating awareness of the product (even though it is a fictional design) and I was able to communicate that in the design, through simplicity and effective colour usage, I was able to pass a quick message to anyone who comes across this Flier.

One of the biggest mistakes killing flyer designs is poor visual hierarchy. In the first design, too many elements compete for attention—the oversized “Sunday” script, multiple font styles, and scattered information make it hard to know what matters first. In the redesign, hierarchy is clear and intentional: “EVERY SUNDAY” becomes the focal point, supported by clean typography and structured spacing that naturally guides the viewer’s eye.
‎Another common issue is inconsistent typography and color usage. The first flyer mixes too many font styles and uses a harsh orange-red combination that feels overwhelming. In the improved version, the typography is refined to a cohesive style, and the color palette is simplified into a clean blue and white scheme—creating a more modern, professional, and easy-to-read design.
‎Lastly, cluttered layout and poor spacing can completely ruin readability. The original design crams too much information into tight spaces, especially in the footer. The redesign solves this with better alignment, proper padding, and organized sections—making the content feel breathable and polished while still delivering all key information clearly.

Today I will be talking about one of my old designs which I redesigned, stay with me 😊😊😊
New (Left side) vs Old (Right Side)
‎
‎Here’s a quick redesign breakdown 👇
‎
‎The “before” version felt cluttered and lacked clear visual hierarchy. Too many competing elements made it hard for the viewer to know where to look first. The typography didn’t guide the eye, and spacing was inconsistent, which reduced overall readability.
‎
‎For the “after” version, I focused on simplicity and intention. I refined the layout using a stronger grid system, introduced clearer typography contrast, and improved spacing to give each element room to breathe. The color palette was also tightened to create a more cohesive and modern feel.
‎
‎Every design decision was made to enhance clarity, usability, and visual impact—because good design isn’t just about looking better, it’s about communicating better.
