And there's no better day to celebrate the inspiring journey of Happiness Akabuike — a girl who refused to be defined by her environment.

From a young age, Happiness demystified every barrier around her, choosing not to wait for permission to chase her dreams. A self-motivated and self-taught powerhouse, she worked tirelessly to carve a space for herself in the world of STEM and media — two spaces where women's voices are still emerging.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Hub Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of AI HUB AFRICA. This includes managing training programs, supervising hub staff, coordinating equipment rentals, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy leader with a strong background in training, digital tools, and technical team management

Key Responsibilities

📌 Plan, coordinate, and supervise training programs from beginner to advanced levels in frontend and backend development.
📌 Oversee the hiring and proper utilization of technical equipment within the hub.
📌 Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with trainers, tech communities, and stakeholders.
📌 Recruit, onboard, and manage instructors, interns, and technical assistants.
📌 Implement digital tools for scheduling, reporting, collaboration, and learning management.
📌 Ensure the hub operates efficiently, including equipment inventory, space management, and user support.
📌Monitor and report on training outcomes, participant satisfaction, and hub performance.
📌 Drive innovation by organizing hackathons, demo days, and startup incubation events.
📌 Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment for all participants.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
📌Minimum of 1 years’ experience , experience managing a tech hub, training center, or innovation lab is added advantage.
📌Strong knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, etc.) and digital tools (Trello, Notion, LMS platforms, Zoom, Google Workspace).
📌Proven experience in training delivery and instructional design.
📌Strong organizational and administrative skills.
📌Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
📌Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for tech innovation in Africa.
