HAPPY PASCAL EVERYONE.
Easter Sunday is the greatest Solemnity of the Christian Church, for every Sunday is patterned after it as the Lord's Day. We celebrate the perpetual triumph of our Lord Jesus Christ over sin, death, and the Devil - a triumph that was not for Himself alone, but extended to us who bear His mark in our souls. What a great mystery, for the tomb asked Him what He is doing inside it, and the Lord answered that He wants it become His temporal home, to be the last thing He will sanctify in nature, in order for it to become our passage to eternal home, Heaven. For this reason we bear names like Pascal referring to His suffering, Anastasia referring to His Resurrection and victory over death, Athanasius and Perpetua both referring to His immortality and eternity. The empty tomb proves that He is truly risen, and that we shall rise too. Congratulations to His Blessed Mother. Praise to the Eternal Father and Holy Spirit for giving us Jesus Christ, the greatest gift in human and divine history. Amen. ALLELUIA!!!
